Immortal Love

How different than how to love in an immortal way

Divine way

Free way

Our love is tarred in interdependence and survival

The smell of open fire and the taste of salt

We love in the visceral

Experience tangible

Our love relies on each other

It’s why mortal love runs so hot

Only a breathe between

devotion and betrayal

The immortal love is free to depend on no one

Require no one

Live on endlessly

It’s lonely in eternity

So maybe you and I are

God’s longing for Himself

To look in the mirror and see

something in return

“Life, although it may only be an accumulation of anguish, is dear to me, and I will defend it.” - Mary Shelley
